Its primary activity is distributing Veteran’s wreaths for placement on graves in military cemeteries. In December 2008, the United States Senate agreed to a resolution that designated December 13, 2008, as Wreaths Across America Day. Subsequent National Wreaths Across America Days have been designated on the second or third Saturday of December.
We are a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
Since our founding in 1967, the Foundation has played a role in every major breakthrough in IBD research. We have invested more than $500 million into finding the causes, treatments, and cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. And we won’t stop until we realize our vision of a future free from Crohn’s and colitis.
We operate at the highest ethical standards and we consistently meet guidelines established by charity watchdogs, including the Better Business Wise Giving Alliance.

We are most grateful to be an active community partner in helping fuel the future of our community through student scholarship investment. We do this by encouraging and creating opportunity for young people who are first entering college. Together we support their continuing education, plus recognize academic success and leadership in community and school activities.
