Olinsky Law Group Year-End Overview: Firm Recognizes Key Happenings From 2025

As the 2025 year comes to an end, Olinsky Law Group is taking the time to recognize and recall some of the key happenings and memorable moments from the firm this year.

Internal Highlights:

  • The team was delighted to yet again be recognized as a best place to work by the CNY Business Journal, the firm’s third time being recognized in the past four years. Read more about the achievement here.
  • Managing partner, Howard Olinsky was recognized as a 2025 Super Lawyer in Upstate New York, making this his third consecutive year being named to the list. Read more about his accolade here.
  • The firm has continued to grow and strengthen its team. In addition to welcoming several staff members to the firm, Olinsky Law Group has expanded both Hearing and Federal Court Departments.
    • The Hearing Department added attorney, Jamilah Kately and two hearing representatives: Lisa Smith and Jessica Watson.
    • The Federal Court Department has also expanded, adding a total of five attorneys to its team throughout the year: Erin McCluan, Brandi Smith, Kimberly Williams-Hunt, Burke Bindbeutel and Darius Taylor.

  • Olinsky Law Group proudly received a Litify customer award for “Excellence in Data & Insights,” designated to a firm that uses real-time insights in Litify to drive real business outcomes. More about the award can be viewed here.
  • Lastly, the team hosted several internal activities, bringing the team closer together and driving a strong culture. Some of these events include trivia, holiday and birthday celebrations, scavenger hunts and more. Olinsky Law Group’s largest event included, “Olinsky Fest,” wherein remote team members and individuals from all offices came together for team bonding and fun!

Community Engagement:

  • The firm proudly sponsored several events throughout the year both locally and nationally. The firm is proud to have supported different organizations and their missions.
    • March: NADR’s 25th Anniversary Conference – Olinsky Law Group sponsored and attended the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) National Conference, gathering with other disability representatives and celebrating NADR’s anniversary year.
    • April & September: NOSSCR National Conferences – The National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) hosted two national conferences throughout the year, their spring conference in Washington D.C. and San Diego for the fall conference. The team was fortunate to attend and exhibit at both events, connecting with other claimants’ representatives.
    • May & September: GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge & GiGi’s Annual Golf Outing – As a longtime supporter of GiGi’s Playhouse, the firm was grateful for the opportunity to sponsor the organization through different events. The firm sponsored the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge in May, uniting people from around the world to promote acceptance through physical and social movement. The team also sponsored their Annual Golf Outing in September, providing meaningful support to the organization and the families they work with.
    • September: Disability Pride Pittsburgh – The firm served as a first-time sponsor of Disability Pride Pittsburgh, one of four celebrations that were hosted in different Pennsylvania cities. Each event connected the community to acknowledge and celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
    • Although not official sponsorships, Olinsky Law Group also served as a supporter and advocate for various organizations throughout the year, including the Baldwin Fund, Salvation Army and Friends of Children & Families.

Social Footprint & Performance:

  • Throughout the year, the firm celebrated and acknowledged various disability awareness and other significant campaigns including Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, Workers Memorial Day, Mental Health Awareness Month, International Day of Persons with Disabilities and more.
  • Olinsky Law Group additionally recognized several national days that were celebrated by the entire firm, including International Women’s Day, National Boss’s Day, Employee Appreciation Day, National Dog Day & more!
  • The Federal Court Department secured wins for referral partners all year. The firm proudly shared its wins monthly recognizing much success at the Federal Court level.

Reflecting on each of these moments, Olinsky Law Group is proud of the progress and hard work put forth this year, while also looking forward to 2026 and the meaningful work that lies ahead!
